BrightSide is a positive-news and daily-lift experience that helps people find hopeful stories, save stories, react to stories, complete small prompts, and build a local or account-backed BrightSide history.

BrightSide may include public pages, story cards, story detail pages, RSS or publisher-sourced links, search, saved stories, Bright Points, ranks, mood check-ins, cues, lifts, support pages, account features, and newsletter features.

BrightSide is in active development. Features may be incomplete, experimental, changed, paused, removed, interrupted, or reorganized at any time.

BrightSide is currently a developing project. We may test new features, change page layouts, revise story presentation, adjust story sources, update rankings, pause features, correct content, or remove content.

Any public roadmap, future feature description, support description, development note, or project plan is an estimate and not a guarantee. We do not guarantee that any specific feature, schedule, account behavior, story source, ranking, support option, newsletter, or product system will remain available permanently.

BrightSide links to third-party publishers and may summarize, categorize, rank, filter, or frame stories from external sources. Publisher sites control their own article pages, images, availability, policies, ads, and paywalls.

BrightSide may use RSS items, publisher metadata, article images, category fallback images, and editorial labels to present stories. We may remove, relabel, reorder, archive, or reject stories that do not fit BrightSide's quality, suitability, image, or source standards.

BrightSide may use story suitability, source quality, image quality, freshness, category diversity, interaction signals, and editorial rules to decide which stories appear in homepage, Explore, Search, recommendation, random gift, and related-story areas.

External story links may change, break, be removed, or become unavailable after BrightSide indexes or displays them.

Some BrightSide features may work locally in your browser, including Bright Points, saved stories, reactions, mood check-ins, cue/lift completions, preferences, and activity history.

Likes, dislikes, saves, shares, story reads, searches, completed prompts, selected moods, favorite themes, rank progress, and account activity may be used to personalize recommendations, prompts, rankings, story discovery, and return paths.

Account-backed sync may be available in some environments, but anonymous local mode may continue to exist. If accounts are enabled, you are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for activity that occurs through your account.

Bright Points, ranks, streaks, badges, achievements, and progress features are motivational product features. They do not have cash value and may be changed, corrected, reset, limited, or discontinued.

Newsletter signup may collect your email address so BrightSide can maintain a simple email list. Support, donation, premium, payment, trial, subscription, and entitlement features are active only when a real provider or backend flow is clearly connected and disclosed.

If BrightSide connects a donation or payment provider, such as PayPal or another processor, that provider's own terms, privacy policy, fees, billing rules, refunds, security practices, and account requirements will also apply.

Supporting BrightSide does not give you ownership of BrightSide, its code, design, story selection, ranking systems, interface, data, or content.

Supporter benefits, premium features, newsletter features, or account benefits may change as the project develops and are not guaranteed unless clearly stated in a separate active offer.

You may choose to send us comments, ideas, suggestions, feature requests, feedback, bug reports, prompts, source suggestions, or other materials.

By sending submissions to BrightSide, you agree that your submissions are voluntary, are not confidential, and may be used, adapted, modified, ignored, published, developed, or incorporated into the project without compensation or obligation to you.

Submitting feedback does not give you ownership, authorship, approval rights, or control over BrightSide.

You agree not to use BrightSide for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

You agree not to scrape, harvest, copy, archive, or systematically retrieve BrightSide content to create a database, mirror, dataset, competing product, or derivative service, except for ordinary search-engine indexing.
